Zoot’s World

With a degree in Dance Performance and Certificate in Theatre Improvisation from the prestigious Second City company, Zoot worked as a break dancer, swing dancer, mime, puppeteer, and actor for twelve years touring his one-person shows (Zoot’s World, Mutant Vaudevillians, and Token Cracker) internationally on the festival circuit to rave reviews and performing in film, television, and commercials with Michael Jackson, Prince, James Cameron, Jake Scott, Arsenio Hall and others. He has worked for 17 years developing reentry arts programs in state prisons. He continues his theatre work as a storyteller, motivational speaker, and artist-in-residence.

Current work:

·       Arts In Corrections Reentry Programs for the Muckenthaler Cultural Center and the CA Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation at several Central Valley prisons.

·       Storytelling for Lightbringer Project and ArtNight Pasadena

·       Consulting on storytelling in marketing and advertising
